Below gives you a brief outline of what to do if you are involved in a road traffic accident
STOP - Failing to stop at a road traffic accident is an offense. Ensure your vehicle is not causing any obstruction or risk further accidents, if your vehicle is immobilised and poses a further risk dial 999 and inform the operator of the situation. If you can move the vehicle then pull to the side of the road and activate your hazard lights. Once either of the above applies, immediately turn off the engine.
SAFETY - Ensure all parties are not injured, if anyone is suffering any neck or back pain immediately call for an ambulance, the best you can do at that time is to comfort and reassure them tell them to sit still and not make any suddent movements. Always follow instructions given to you over the phone by the operator.
DETAILS - If it is only a minor accident that does not require any emergency services, calmly exchange insurance details with the other party (if applicable) and arrange for us to recover your vehicle. Depending on the severity of the accident you have the option of having it recovered to your chosen destination if only minor damage or if it is a more serious accident we can recover it to our secure compound and await further instructions from yourself or your insurer.
