Stena Line terminal - Birkenhead
As we are located 5 minutes from Stena Line Birkenhead ferry terminal we often recieve phone calls to assist in the loading of a vehicle onto one of the ships due to failures.
If you suffer a failure of any component resulting in you being unable to drive onboard, it is important that you notify the staff at Stena Line so they can arrange space within the freight area of the ship and/or arrange a later crossing for you. A manager at the terminal will inform you of a time to arrange a recovery vehiclet to attend.
You will then have to arrange for a recovery truck to attend to load your vehicle, and will also have to arrange a recovery truck at the destination to unload your vehicle.
When one of our trucks arrive at Stena Line, they will then take the keys from you and liase with staff regarding the loading of your vehicle.
Once you vehicle is loaded our driver will then inform you of where the keys have been placed within the vehicle.
Restricted access locations
Due to the locations of some areas around the Wirral, at times it is either difficult or impossible to get our vehicles to the location we require. Using the correct equipment, tools and knowledge we can rescue vehicles from these difficult locations including Fields, Wood-lands, Sand or Water.
